I was excited to be attending the Quantum Entrainment Workshop with Dr. Frank Kinslow in Sarasota over the weekend. It was a great refresher course for me on QE and I was delighted to experience a live workshop with Dr. Kinslow again.
I originally met Dr. Kinslow in August of 2008, when I was the host of a workshop he presented in Tampa. He was just beginning to teach Quantum Entrainment at that time and I feel fortunate to have been a part of his launch by hosting a workshop for him. He went on to become a #1 best selling author in Europe and has been teaching many workshops over there since then. It was just announced that he has been picked up by Publisher, Hay House, which is very exciting.
I had the delightful opportunity to attend the Brain Body Dynamics Workshop presented by John Maxwell Taylor of the UK. He shared many techniques on how to shift your energy to live a more joyful, balanced life.
I went up to Michigan for my Mom’s 84th Birthday Party and wanted to share some of the pictures. It was very cold – 5 degrees for the low and 22 degrees for the high – and it snowed too. I had to go to my storage unit to find some winter clothes, jacket, scarf, gloves and hat for the trip. The picture of me all bundled up didn’t save for some reason. It was great to see the family and be a part of the celebration.
It was a great time having my family together for Christmas this year. We enjoyed Christmas Eve at Universal Studios and especially the Harry Potter area at Islands of Adventure. Then we were off to Cocoa Beach for the rest of the vacation. I enjoyed the time of being unplugged from work and just relaxing and having fun.

In continuing my Birthday Celebration, I spent the day at Busch Gardens with my good friend, Joanne Weiland. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed going through the park looking at all the animals. We didn’t get on any of the crazy roller coaster rides – we just watched. We rode the train from the Nairobi Station to Stanleyville and we enjoyed riding on the Carousel. Nothing crazy, just a wonderful, relaxing day.

We are reminded every day of the value of social media in our Global Communications, but especially during times of disasters. During the recent Earthquake in Chile, Twitter and Facebook were critical communication links to the rest of the world. In sending messages to loved ones and posting pictures and videos, that the media was able to then upload to television, it was very evident that social media is now more immediate and mainstream than traditional media.
When people ask me if social media is a fad, one only has to look at these natural disasters and see that social media is now the way the world communicates.
